Hi, I’m Melissa and I help people like you remember special moments in their lives forever through the photos I take. I help couples remember every little detail of their wedding day, high school seniors remember how they looked and felt as they became young adults, and families remember what their baby looked like when they joined the family.
After starting my business in 2020, growing an incredible Minneapolis clientele, and shooting as lead photographer for two full wedding seasons, I’ve decided to expand my business in a new city. I recently relocated to San Antonio, Texas! I frequently travel back home to Minnesota for weddings so I’m able to serve clients in BOTH states. Whether you live in sunny San Antonio or snowy Minneapolis, I’m here for you on your big day!
I can’t believe that I get to help couples remember their weddings forever with the photographs I take. I absolutely love capturing moments like your grandma hugging your long lost cousin, your flower girl spinning in her dress, and your groom tearing up as you walk down the aisle.

I originally went to college to be a teacher but was always obsessed with the wedding industry. I catered weddings all throughout high school and was a bridal and bridesmaid dress consultant in college. I always loved taking photos, had several point and shoot cameras growing up, and bought my first DSLR camera after my high school graduation. When I was in college to become a teacher, I made friends with a few girls who were starting their own photography businesses.
These girls inspired and motivated me to take my love of weddings and photography to the next level. I launched my photography as a side hustle at the same time I began teaching. I quickly realized that teaching wasn’t for me and that wedding photography was. I quit teaching after two years and decided to take my photography business full time. Now that I’m a full-time wedding photographer, I’m here to capture passionate love stories and I can’t wait to capture yours too!
